WELCOME HOME

MATTHEW SWEENEY!

We are very happy to have our soldier boy back in states from his tour of duty in Iraq.  We are proud of all of our military personnel, but especially of our own hometown boy and member of our congregation and family. Matt arrived in Hattiesburg, MS on Sunday evening and is expected to be home in Russellville on Friday.

While in Iraq, Matt earned the Bronze Star Medal which is a United States Armed Forces individual military decoration awarded for bravery, acts of merit, or meritorious service.  We are very proud of Matt and welcome him back home with his family and friends.
