Welcome to the homepage of the Fifth and Greenwich Church of Christ! We are so glad you have come our way, and hope you will be blessed for being here. Every person who comes our way is special to us. We want you to know we care about your soul. Jesus said, "If you abide in my word...you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:31-32). If we can be of help to you in better understanding God's truth, His will for your life and His plan for your salvation, please contact us. Who are we? Christians only! The Bible tells us that the church is a part of the "eternal purpose" of God for every one of us and was made possible through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:10-11). But there is a great deal of misunderstanding about the importance and identity of that church. There were no denominations when the church of Christ had its beginning. But when we look around today, we see so many different churches, different faiths and different teachings that we become confused about what is right. But if we set aside the denominations, doctrines and teachings of men and simply go back to the Bible, we can belong to the church that Jesus built--the Lord's church that is a part of God's eternal plan to redeem us and bring us to heaven through His Son. If we follow the New Testament of Christ and do today what they did in the beginning, we can be today what they were then -- Christians only (Acts 11:26)!
